Our Story

While farming runs deep in our families, we were not likely farmers.

We both grew up here in East Tennessee, surrounded by family, farms and so many things that we didn't fully appreciate until we'd spent years away from it. Life took us in different directions and to places far from home. We built careers, pursued opportunities, but eventually both found our way back to Tennessee. At first, coming home was about being closer to family and returning to a place we loved. But over time, it became something more.

Neither of us set out to become farmers. Jamie is a chiropractor by trade, and Leslie spent much of her career in emergency management and crisis communications. Farming wasn't exactly part of the plan.

It started small: a little garden, a few fruit trees in the backyard, and then the discovery that Jamie really loved growing things! One thing led to another, and somewhere along the way, we began to realize just how deeply our roots ran.

Today, Coming Home Christmas Trees is about much more than growing trees or peaches or raising cattle and goats. It's about caring for a piece of land, learning from it, and finding joy and purpose in the work. It's about family legacy, the importance of community, and preserving a way of life that means a great deal to us. In many ways, this farm has become our touchstone: a place that grounds us, reminds us of what matters, and brings us back to ourselves.

We’ve come home, in every sense of the word…and we invite you to as well. We hope that when you visit, you'll find a little of what we've found here: a place to slow down, reconnect, and feel at home.
